Do not turn the volume up too high on the EAR3H. It have the potential to damage helmet speakers, earphones, headphones, etc., should they not be rated for a higher audio input. Use the volume amplification slowly and proceed with caution to avoid over boosting your helmet speakers, earphones, headphones, etc., but most importantly, to avoid permanently damaging your hearing.

+ Foam Covers
+ Foam Spacing Pads
For proper installation, the XSound 3 helmet speakers need to be touching your ears during use inside your helmet. You may use the included foam spacing pads to achieve this.
We also recommend that the helmet speakers are mounted in a more forward and lower position in the ear pockets to accommodate your ears more effectively.
Proper speaker placement is crucial. Please install the included foam pads to position the speakers to be right up to the ears. Any space left between the ear and speaker will result in a lower volume and usually leads to the volume being turned up to excessive levels. THIS MAY CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE SPEAKERS. IASUS does not recommend listening to music at excessive levels which may lead to hearing damage.
